About Pick a Posy Pick a Posy is a hidden gem in Lyall Bay, located at Unit 12, 70 Kingsford Smith Street, Wellington. Originally known as The Flower Studio, Scheherazade, the shop first opened in 1952 in Wellington’s busy CBD. It later moved to Bay Road, Kilbirnie, in the 1980s before finding its home in Lyall Bay and rebranding as Pick a Posy.  As Pick a Posy continues to grow, we're excited to be preparing for our next chapter, with a move to Newtown planned for July 2026. While our location may change, our passion for beautiful flowers, exceptional service, and supporting our Wellington community remains the same.  With a strong reputation for quality and service, Pick a Posy has become a beloved florist across Wellington, Lower Hutt, Upper Hutt, and Porirua.   Our Floral Services 🌸 Birthday Flowers – Celebrate with fresh, vibrant bouquets. There are no Sunday deliveries available, except for Mother’s Day
